AGRISHIFT® TLP for Pullets

AgriShift® TLP was created to provide pullet producers the most advanced lighting system. This lighting system is designed to operate in-system to meet the lighting needs of poultry housed in today’s deeper and more spacious systems. In-system lighting has been shown to be a key input in healthy pullet development. The TLP has an optimized color spectrum and dimming capability in order to meet the birds’ developmental needs, enhance welfare and provide uniform growth. 

These LED systems significantly reduce electricity costs, decrease labor and maintenance costs, and increase flock performance. AgriShift® TLP lights are more energy efficient than existing fluorescent bulbs. They provide a fast return on investment as well as long-term savings. Unlike CFL or Cold-cathode lighting systems, these lights have no need for ballasts or transformers. 

The Science Behind the Technology 
The AgriShift® TLP has an enhanced blue and green spectrum with added red content for early bird development. Green and red light spectrum increases growth during the early stage of development. Blue light has been shown to be helpful in the growth of poultry at a later age by elevating plasma androgens. Other studies show that blue light can calm birds, reduce blood pressure and positively.
