AGRISHIFT® TLUS for Layers

The AgriShift® TLUS under-system tube light provides layer producers with a lighting solution that brightens underneath cages, significantly reducing floor eggs. It has a bright white and blue light output which has been shown to calm birds, reduce blood pressure and positively effect blood glucose and triglyceride levels. This 5 foot in-system lighting option provides a uniform and continuous light pattern free of dark spots and shadows. Birds are less likely to lay eggs under the caging systems, while being noticeably calmer.

The AgriShift® TLUS is fully dimmable, minimizing extreme changes in lighting. Abrupt changes are shown to excite flight responses, increasing cortisol levels and inhibiting melatonin secretion—both of which have a negative effect on the well-being of the bird. With uniform coverage, a consistent light pattern and the ability to provide sunset and sunrise functionality, corticosterone levels and other stress markers are minimized, improving animal welfare.
